Information in an award record
Each entry identifies the responsible company, formulation and label version, category, criteria, award dates, decision basis, and current status. Relevant limitations are included with the decision information.
Use this record when checking a certificate or award mark displayed elsewhere.
Award status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | The award is within its term and current use is permitted under the rules. |
| Expired | The award term has ended. The historical record remains available. |
| Suspended | Current award use is paused while a matter is resolved. |
| Withdrawn | The recipient has withdrawn the award under the program rules. |
| Revoked | ASA has rescinded the award under the program rules. |
These statuses describe the award, not a separate medical or regulatory assessment of the product.
Scope of an award
The award covers the submitted evidence for the identified formulation. It does not extend to other products, later formulations, or every manufacturing batch. ASA does not perform laboratory testing through the program.
Certificate checks and corrections
Use an award number to verify a certificate. Report incorrect information, a mismatch, or suspected alteration through the concern form.
